SPRING LAKE YOGA RETREAT - May 27 - 30, 2022

Join Twisted Sister Yoga Memorial Day Weekend at the beach in Spring Lake!  Various outdoor yoga styles, spiritual transformation and adventure is yours during the most beautiful time of year, catching the long days of summer on the Jersey Shore.  Spring Lake is a small beach resort town where visitors can return to the gracious age of elegance and sophistication. Simple pleasures await in the form of two miles of sparkling beach, fine dining, boutique shops and deep relaxation.  Visitors can venture out on a gorgeous boardwalk or bike ride, bask in sun and stillness on one of the many pristine beaches, or peruse the downtown shops and eateries. The mellow pace and warm hospitality of Spring Lake will embrace you the moment you arrive, and you will feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Yoga

Hatha yoga for all levels, linking movement with the breath for an energizing yet relaxing flow. With creative and balanced sequences, strengthening and lengthening, detoxing and breath work, you will experience a strong, safe and supportive practice. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. You'll have the opportunity to play with some backbends, arm balances, and inversions if you choose, and cool down with some deep stretches to restore the body and mind.

Accommodations:

If you're not a local, you are responsible for booking your own accommodations.  We suggest The Breakers Hotel, situated just a few steps from the ocean. Included is a beach badge, an outdoor swimming pool and large wrap around porch. In front of the Hotel is a two and a half mile non-commercial boardwalk which is perfect for a leisurely stroll or exhilarating jog. The gazebo, directly in front of the Hotel and on the boardwalk, is a welcoming spot to sit and relax or read a book. Classic Italian cuisine, fresh seafood specialties and prime steaks are offered in the Seashell Dining Room overlooking the ocean.  Lunch can be served poolside. Golf, tennis and fishing nearby.  Bring a friend, or your family!
